Week 3 Digital Tech - Camera RAW

Before: I had to convert this portrait to black and white. 
After: I used the basic panel to convert this photo black and white, I also lowered the lights in the photo so there was more detail on the table because it was overexposed. 


This is the same photo but saved at a low resolution of 72dpi  and i resized it, making it smaller.

Before:  I had to convert a landscape to black and white.
After: I used the basic panel to convert the photo and used the targeted adjustment tool to adjust the tones and contrast in the photo, and also brightened up the shadows so you could see more detail in the leaves.

Week 3 Digital Tech - Camera RAW


Before: The task for this photo said to find a portrait you like and turn it black and white 

After: I used the basic panel to convert this portrait to a black and white photo, i played around with the shadows and the highlights to lighten up up the sunlight hitting her face.

After: I turned this photo black and white by using the HSL/grey scale sliders.  

Before: This photo's task was to find a landscape you like and convert it to black and white.

Before: This photo's task was to change the lantern colour, correct the angles and bring out detail.

After: I used the saturation/vibarance panel to change the lantern yellow, i used a straightening tool to fix the photo and used the basic panel to bring out some detail in the overexposed bottom right corner. 

HSL targeted adjustment Before: i chose this photo cause of it wide colour range.

HSL targeted adjustment After: I  Used the HSL adjustment tool to colour correct this photo. 

After: I used the Auto Function in the lens correct panel to straighten the photo and the white balance tool to neutrilise this photo. 

Before: This photo's task was to straighten it and to neutrilise the color.
