Conner Clarke is a New Zealand photographer based in Germany, She is currently doing Residency at Waitawa Regional Park in Auckland. She shoots alot of landscapes of sites that have to do with mining and construction. She has displayed her work in gallerys all over Berlin and New Zealand.
These images make me feel interested as well as somewhat cold, I love how at first glance the piles of earth look like actual mountains at first but then you ssee the tire tracks and you reilize there not real mountains.The middle image is a good example of tricking the eye, It looks like a mountain but its really a close up of a pile of either earth or salt.

In the last image you can see the island which is being mined, this island is what Conor is shooting. She said its something that will be gone in a year or so and the style of this project it was right up her ally. There are no images out yet of the island but hopefully will be shortly.
