Portfolio Week 5

genres: Creative Fine Art's/ Fine Art/ MacroPhotography

ideas:

I want to stick to my connection work between nature and the skin, using macrophotography. I plan to Retake images and try to find new connections if i can. I still want to take inspiration from Aaron Mclean's idea about connections and nature.

This photo of a mint leaf was shot with a shutter speed of 1/100 cause its a desired shutter speed for macro photography, But cause it was a crapy day the had to use a high ISO which increased the chance of my photos being noisy. I like the detail and the colours in the photo.

This photo was one of the better ones to me cause of the pink against the black and hoe theres detail in the leaves,  I tried to keep the same Shutter speed but had to increase my ISO again cause it was dark.But there wasnt much noise in the photo which ii was pleased about.

I really like this photo cause i might compare it to a hand and fingers, plus i really like the way the purple stands out against the black. I used the same setting cause they were working with this photo. There was no tungsten light on for this photo cause i used a defuser on the speed light.

For this photo of a Ponga i dropped a bit of water onto it when i took the photo to try and get a somewhat natural look, There was not much light going on in this photo cause i used the speed light again with a defuser. I think a little bit more light would of worked to bring out the colour a little. I could of compared this to a arm with water on it.

this photo of a leaf came out really well, i like how you can see the deep lines in the leave and the hairs that are sticking up from the leaf. I dont think i could find much to compare this to since i have alot of leave pictures already but this one could be a final.

This is a photo of someones wrist, i like how the textures and strands of hair picked up well  but since i already have similar skin photographs i dont think i like this one as much as some others I've done.

This photo has some really good textures to it which i really like and i like how you can see the small hairs. I did this earlier in the day were there was more light so i didnt have to have a high ISO.

This photo is my knee, i like the shadow cast just above my knee and i like how you can see detail in patches. I find this one kinda abstract cause you cant tell what it is at first.

This photo is my brothers eye, i really like how the photo came out and hoe much detail and color there is in his eye. This was shoot in the late evening so the orignal came out really dark cause i didnt wanna flash him with the speed light so i brightened it up in Camera RAW.
