Week 4 - Texture/Positive & Negative space

F/11.0  Shutter: 1/25  ISO:400

This photo of a paper flower is a texture with negative space, i could of improved this shot by filling up the frame up with more of the flowers detail.

F/22.0  Shutter: 1/60 ISO:400

This photo of a log is texture, from both the grass and the log. I could of improved it by catching more detail in the log. I used a big DOF to get everything in the frame in focus.

F/18.0  Shutter: 1/60 ISO:400

This photo from another part of the log is also a texture, but unlike the one above the background is blurred. This was because i used a smaller DOF.

F/18.0  Shutter: 1/60  ISO:400

This photo is also from another part of the log's texture. I could of moved around a little to capture a more shady part of the log since the sunlight area took away some detail in the log.

F/22.0  Shutter: 1/60  ISO:400

This tree is also a texture, i used a high DOF to try and get everything into focus so i could have multiple textures in this shot.

F/25.0  Shutter: 1/125  ISO:400

This photo is a wider shot of a defined subject with texture, the texture from the leaves and branches looks rough compared to the subject, who looks softer in detail. I used a wide DOF to make sure everything was focused.

F/22.0  Shutter: 1/125  ISO:400

This photo is also a wider shot of the subject surrounded by texture. Once again i used a high F-stop so that all the texture in the photo was visible; the tree, my subject hair and clothing.

F/22.0  Shutter: 1/125  ISO:400

Photo 1 out of 3 is a low angle shot, using the sky as the negative space. I like how the negative space in between the tree's branches creates shapes and theres some texture from the clouds which look soft and tangible.

F/22.0  Shutter: 1/125  ISO400

Photo 2 out of 3 is also a low angle shot using the sky as the negative space. I like how the power lines cut up the sky and clouds, then the leaves bring texture into the photo.

F/22.0  Shutter: 1/125  ISO:400

Photo 3 out of 3 is also a low angle shot using the sky as negative space. The sky doesn't have as many clouds as the other 2 photos did which makes the squares look painted.

F/22.0  Shutter:1/125  ISO:400

This is a portrait of 2 subjects in negative space, I think i could of improved this photo if there were more clouds around so that the negative space didn't look so plain.

F/22.0  Shutter:1/125  ISO:400

This photo is a still life looking directly over the objects. I really like this photo cause cause its telling a story almost, the shade on the left side looks dark and the cigarette looks creepy and dark while the flower and the line separates the positive from the negative. in other words light vs dark
