Artist Research week 6 - Martin Parr

Martin Parr (born 23 May 1952) is a British documentary photographer, photojournalist and photobook collector. He is known for his photographic projects that take an intimate, satirical and anthropological look at aspects of modern life, in particular documenting the social classes of England, and more broadly the wealth of the Western world

Martin Parr was known for his work with flash and diffuses. The first photo is an example of his work with a speed light, the photo would maybe overexpose the people in front but by using a diffuser pointed at the people cuts half the light from the flash but didnt change the dark back ground. Same kinda thing in the third photo, were he would of difused the light hitting the young mother and baby.
